No battles here please, just an informal poll OK?

How are you going to vote? Why?

I'll start. #1 The sales tax on liquor. At first glance it seems to be unreasonable to me BUT after thinking about how much our car insurance and health insurance, which is a 'pool' type product, is affected by these particular products price wise (like cigarettes). I have no problems about leaving the tax in place. Clothing is tax free? Just buy a suit that costs more than $200.00 (or is it $250.00?. They tax it as a 'luxury'. So I say NO to question #1.

Question #2....40B housing is described as a 'pig fest' It is a law that currently subsidizes (with your taxes) low income housing, local laws be damned. They say the housing is for teachers, public employees etc. What! They all live out of town! Big money takes small tracts of land and jams a ton of low income houses on them. They keep popping up all over FR. This increased housing makes NO MONEY. Average house tax is less than $3000.00/year.

Each family that moves into one of these homes probably has at least one school age child. How much does it cost for each student in the FR school system? And what if they are special needs. Each one of these homes probably cost the tax payer of FR about $10,000/year...or more. That is why they are in communities like FR, NB, Brockton, but not in Carlisle, or Scituate MA or any of the other upper middle class suburban communities.
So I vote YES to question#2.

Question #3 Roll back state and use tax to 3%. I think 3% is too severe BUT lawmakers just keep barreling along spending & taxing, spending & taxing, spending & taxing. So I say Yes to question #3 It is a message to live within yor means in these leans times. I have to as an individual.
So I say YES to question #3
