Definitly Minerva's Pizza on North Main near Brightman St intersection. Their salads are great. Everything there is really good. Very clean, fresh, friendly owner and help. Next time I'm there I'll get one of their menu's, scan and post on here. :)

My opinnion, Papa Gino's has the best tasting pizza in the area! Tried many other's, but nothing compares to Papa Gino's on Mariano Bishop Blvd.

The best pizza in the area has to be THE WAVE Brayton Ave at the corner of Brayton Avenue and Jefferson Street.
They only offer one size, and that's a 10" thin crust pie, with the best sauce and fresh toppings piled high, and the cheapest price around! He has years of experience in the business, with family ties to the original owners of The Wave Restaurant in Marion!
So if you haven't tried their pizza, stop in! Their Fish and Chips are great too!
Luculos Pizza on State Road North Dartmouth has the best pizza, always. Been going to Lucolos since I was 12, and their pizza is just great. It's a little out of my way but worth it sometimes when in the need for a good pizza made the way I like it.

Minerva's get's my vote too. Especially if you want a low fat pizza. They do an all veggie pizza, and you can order it with low-fat cheese. You have to try this. They pile on the fresh veggies and it is the best.:D

best pizza? Fall River might have some of the worst pizza on the east coast. Really
it sucks. Mesa 21 is definately the best in town by far. Highland Pizza's house special ( no bait) is well worth the money and is probably the only other pie worth eating in the city. Do yourself a favor a drive to providence or boston areas where actual italian people live if you want a good pizza!

Do yourself a favor a drive to providence or boston areas where actual italian people live if you want a good pizza!
Here are some interesting facts about pizza:
- Many people think pizza was invented by the Italians. Others claim the Italians stole it from the Greeks. It's a little known fact that the pizza was in fact invented by the native Americans, and discovered by Christopher Columbus. He gave it the name "pizza" in honor of the Santa Maria's cook, Giuseppi Pizzaga, which is also where the term "pizza guy" originates (it's actually kinda scary how close to true this is).
-Two of the main ingredients of pizza are not even from Italy. Mozzarella cheese comes from the milk of a species of Buffalo that originated in India, and tomato sauce originated in America. And in fact, people had been making bread for centuries before Zeus figured out that the whole "God" thing wasn't a great way to get chicks. So really, why the hell do Italians think they have anything to do with Pizza? Freakin' thieving Italians!

I'll make a list based on the type of Restaurant.
Fast Pizza Chains:
1. Pizza Hut - Just like the pan pizza. Loved it since I was a kid.
2. Papa Johns - If I'm too lazy to go to Pizza Hut, I'll go here.
3. Papa Gino's - Like the thin crust.
Domino's in awful. I know the owner on South Main St. donates to a lot of good causes, but Domino's pizza is just awful.
Restaurants:
1. Bertucci's - A lot better than Olive Garden. Pizza is good there.
Neighborhood Place:
1. Excellent Pizza in Somerset. I like the place, especially the owner. I got to know him after working for my parents' Chinese place in Somerset.
Never tried Highland Pizza & I've been in Fall River for over 10 years.

Holy shit. We might have to change your screename to "The Pizza Authority". You've had them all. Fall river pizza can't be that bad. I noticed you left Caserta's Pizza off your list. People from R.I. generally talk about Caserta's like it was sacred. It's funny, I just googled a thread about Caserta's and there are comments there from people that say "there is no good pizza in R.I". Based on your recommendation, I'm gonna start living large, and try the pizza places you listed above over the next few months. I'll report back on the results. Another place you did not list was Pizza-Pie-er on Wickenden St. in Prov. I've had theirs before.
Thread about Caserta's Pizza here. (http://search.cityguide.aol.com/providence/restaurants/caserta-pizzeria/v-106689770/reviews)

sorry [I] didn't mean to come off like a jerk. I am not a fan of fall river pizza, obviously.
I tried Caserta's, if you like sicilian style you might enjoy it but they do have a limited amount of choices. I heard pizza-pie-er is very good but have not tried it.

I was only kidding you. We're gonna find a FR pizza that you love. How do you like it? What are the most important features for you?

I agree with the Highland and A1 votes but now I'm kinda interested in try what ibanez spoke of Mesa 21? Got a favorite Asian?

I'm not a FR native - my wife is. Her family loved Highland. I thought it was okay for Greek - at least I think it's Greek - style. Kinda salty though.
I have tried NE Pizza on Robeson. Same thing as Highland; just okay, kinda blah.
Papa Gino's is predictable but safe.
Il Piatto/Mesa21 (same pizza cook) has decent pie, very similar to Bertucci's. I personally think they have the best pizza in FR - even if I don't always go there.
Although I do love "Boston" pizza (Pizzaria Regina et. al.), my absolute favorite is a tie between Al Forno's in Providence and Angela's Coal Fired in Saugus.

Hi, I only get what is deliverable to my address and been eating Royal pizza for long time. It's the best of all the others available to deliver. It's up on North Main.
Nice people, mom and pop place, cheese on the pizza is good. I have had times depending on who is making them that it may not be as good, (less cheese), but in general almost all pizza's I get from there are very good.

I have to agree , Excellent Pizza is excellent, and they have coupon specials. It's always great when you can save a few bucks. The owner is the bomb.

the prices across the land have gone up due to the rising price of ingrediants, especially cheese.. so the prices listed are before the most recent increase, but www.MyAtlasPizza.com shows the eat-in & take-out menu of some of the best pizza in town, and they are Greek.
Cousin Mike's has the best buffalo chicken pizza! If you like that kind of pizza you should try it. I also like Mesa 21 and Fall River House of Pizza.

Minerva's rocks! And they are such pleasant people on top of it. Love them!
My wife and I think the best is is found at Assonet Village Pizza.
If we want it delivered, we start with Domino's (our area is served by the store on South Main St.), and if we want anything else (chicken, etc), we go with Papa John's on Broadway.

Minerva's. North Main St neat Brightman.
They have a "Lite" Pizza that is great. It is made with low fat cheese, and loaded with every kind of vegetable. If you feel like an excellent pizza, and want to keep it somewhat healthy, try this at Minervas.

My all time favorite used to be Highland Pizza, that is until I saw the lady(owner) smoking a cigarette outside, then coming in the restaurant and continuing to prepare food without washing her hands. No need to eat there anymore.............my list of acceptable places to eat is becoming smaller, and smaller..........Rebecca....... no, I am not paranoid, just expect sanitary conditions in eating establishments. Is that too much to ask.

Atlas Pizza ...Is by far the best around in Fall River:D
Yeah you got my vote Atlas Pizza on Eastern Ave., FR, MA. They have the best cheese, never seems to be anything less than fresh there. The crust is nice and textured and the sauce well I forgot what it tastes like but I assume it deserves at least an 8 out of 10.
Dominoes had the Brooklyn style pizza a few years ago and I thought it was ok.
Papa Ginos is very acceptable but they could surely put more cheese, their extra cheese pizza has as much cheese as a regular cheese at Atlas.
Fall River House of Pizza on South Main st. is very comparable to Atlas and A1.
Fox's Pizza off of President Ave. has sweet pizza sauce.
