I noticed this in the AlMac's parking lot (same side where Cilantro's used to be)...it was closed but a sign was up and a building permit was in the window. I haven't heard a thing about it or seen anything in the HN (big surprise), does anyone know what the scoop is? A new place in FR? Could be cool.:):)

Yeah. It's a potential local brewhouse with burgers, etc. I heard they were looking at space off Anawan St. closer to Battleship Cove, near Blount Seafood outlet. Maybe they took space in the plaza you mentioned instead. Should be a good place if they get it off the ground. I'm guessing it would take a minimum of $300k to open a place like that.

No clue about start-up costs, but I'm just glad to hear of a business opening rather than another closing. It would be great to have a place to get a decent burger and a good-priced brew, rather than traveling to Somerset or Tiverton or wherever. I'll be watching for the opening!

I do not know where "Cilantro's" was located.

Where is the new "Battleship Brewhouse" located in reference to where Caliente was.

What was Cilantro? I'm guessing Asian or African? Shame I did not get to sample their fare.

How can you say that? In a post under restaurants, and I place your quoted text below, you state: "Caliente was a fine eatery with fair prices. It is a shame it will be replaced with what seems to be yet another gin mill."
So how can you say it was fine in one post, yet say you didn't sample their fare in this one? You are always trying to start crap, you must be very bored.

My opinion. Sean is being a wise ass due to different spellings. Cilantro versus Caliente. Also in the Restaurants Forum post he made grammatical errors. Is that even possible?

Correct. The other name was confusing. I am looking forward to visiting the Battleship Brewhouse.

I admit, I have made my share of spelling mistakes and don't recall ever saying otherwise.

Fine. Then please stop criticizing other people when they do the same.

Do them a big favor, go somewhere else, or stay the F#*k home. No business needs a miserable a-hole like you as a customer. Better yet, just make up a bunch of lies and write your negative review now, like you did with Playoffs.

Can't wait to see what sort of garbage Sean pulls out of his butt on a review of this one. Sean needs to try to remember what he "supposedly" eats before he gets caught up in his lies again.

Here' my plan for Sean. Read the post, laugh until my gut hurts then move on. I'm not going to fuel his fire with a reply.

That's it ?? Come on you can do better than that ! We're looking for a complete and full detailed review. Prices, food, attitude, cute barmaids, ?
We need to hear it all or you'll be fired as the Fall River Talks Phantom Restaurant Critic. :D
