Lund is all over the article in the paper but it's not clear to those of us that are not "in the know".

Was the man who died going to/from "The Tipsy Seagull" or a different pier?

I checked the place out one Saturday afternoon. $4.00 for a draft meant I left after one.

Going from the "bar" down the ramp is tricky.

The stairs that lead to the parking lot could be fatal as one missed step would send you into rocks.

I hope the TS was not involved in any way, but there should be some railings and lights.

Maybe because the bar doesn't own the stairs it doesn't mater?

My prayers are with the family.

I'm somewhat familiar with Borden Light. The dock he fell off, according to the Fall River Herald, "G" dock, is as far away from the restaurant as you can get. It is almost the extreme south end of the marina. Also, those boats at that end of the marina tend to keep to themselves, and they have their own close-knit community at their end of the marina. There is almost always a crew of them socializing on that dock. From what I read, and what I know, this was just a horrible tragedy, and there is no "bad guy" to blame. I'm sure the "G Dock" community is suffering terribly right now.

I suppose $4.00 for a glass of suds is a little high for Fall River types. LOL!

Baker, my boy, it is "matter", not "mater"
