While driving from Somerset into Fall River over the Brightman Street Bridge (today 9/16/08 around 4:10 pm). I watched as a Fall River police officer while talking on a cell phone was holding up traffic while he waited to take a left hand turn at the light.
As many of you may know there are signs clearly posted letting drivers know there is no left hand turn from 3pm-6pm M-F. I also know it isn't illegal to talk on a cell phone. I do think that there is something wrong when this officer just disregards the posted signs, or was he not paying attention because he was on the phone.
