WOW Gym. Anybody go there?

I'm thinking of joining, but I've been burned by gyms before. The contract stuff, monthly automatic payment, etc. Any comments would be helpful.

I would not reccomend WOW! I went there a few weeks ago with a coupon for a free 7 day pass. In order to get the free 7 days you have to join, and then cancel before the 7 days is up. I did cancel on my fifth day. Just check them out on the BBB website, they don't have a very good track record.

i joined like 3yrs ago i paid no fee to join i paid 29.99 for six months the 19.99 as long as want to be a member also could use any wow i want been to the ones in brockton,new bedford,norwood,warwick and fall riveri you can deal with them

I heard from a semi-reliable source today that WOW may be moving to the Harbor Mall in the space where the cinema was. It makes sense in that they would be able to draw from a much bigger area (Tiverton, etc.). Anybody hear anything about this?

As an even better source, I can tell you that WOW is not moving its existing gym (Pocasset Street), but instead opening an additional gym somewhere in that end of the city, where they can target the Tiverton residents.

After seeing their advertisements on Pocasset Street, I thought about joining a few years back. Therefore, called them up: they tried to rope me in for a long-term commitment thing, for a 19.99-dollar deal. Unsuspecting of this, I choose not to give them my business. All I wanted from them was to use their weights and equipment for a month or a summer for $19.99/mth. It was not in my interest to commit to a long-term relationship with them. They should change their advertisement, so it is not misleading.

Today, I could care less what they do. Not into it anymore

I go to Wow and I think is a great Gym the price is right I pay 100$ to sign-up and $19.99 a month. They do have the hammer strenght machines wich are great to use specially if you don't have a lifting partner, Plus you don't wait for machines like other gyms and there is a lot of Hot Girls also wich is a nice way to spend time between sets, but that is another topic............
